How to use dailyallowance

• Go to the Income tab and add what you usually get in a month — paychecks, tips, side gigs, cash — anything that counts as money coming in. Every time you get money, add it here.
• Go to the Expenses tab and add the regular expenses you know are coming each month - rent, phone, bills, subscriptions, savings, etc.
• Head to the Daily Log to see how much you can spend each day without going broke. Log what you spend each day when you spend it. Your daily balances update in real time.

💡 Spent too much one day? A negative daily balance doesn't necessarily mean you're broke overall — it's just a way of keeping pace with your actual cash so it lasts the whole month. See if you can watch your spending until your daily balance is back in the positive.
💡 Want to make a big purchase, but your daily balance isn't enough to cover it? Your daily balance adds up over time. You might not be able to afford it today, but wait a few days and you might. Holding off lets your unspent balance grow.

dailyallowance is a budgeting app that helps you focus on one simple question: what can I spend today?

Instead of overwhelming you with long-term projections and complex dashboards, it breaks your budget into daily spending limits based on your monthly income and expenses.

If you tend to forget about upcoming bills or burn through cash early in the month, dailyallowance helps you pace your spending. By giving you a clear, up-to-date number each day, it takes the guesswork out of "Can I afford this right now?"

It's also a tool for curbing impulse spending. When you can see how overspending today shrinks your options tomorrow, you're more likely to pause and think it through.

This app is a Progressive Web App (PWA) designed for offline use and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data on external servers. All information you enter is saved on your device, meaning this app uses your browser's local storage to save information to your device only. We do not require login or account creation, nor do we track user activity. We cannot access, view, or recover any of the data that you enter. If you clear your browser storage or uninstall the app, any locally saved data will be deleted and cannot be recovered.

We do not use cookies, tracking tools, or analytics.

Third-Party Services: This app uses Font Awesome (loaded from a CDN) to display icons. When the app loads, Font Awesome's CDN may collect limited technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) for performance and analytics. We do not have access to this data. We do not have access to any data collected by third-party services.
